Greg and Ruth Gottig started FF Commercial Cleaning in early 2008 after deciding there was a gap in the market for a good value for money service offering a personal and individual service.

Greg has previously owned and worked in hotels for the past 20 years and sold out in 2008. His primary focus was always very much on the standards and housekeeping of the bedrooms and public areas and during the time the hotel was part of the sales and marketing consortium Best Western, the property always scored very highly in their twice yearly assessments.

In addition to running FF Commercial Cleaning on a day to day basis Greg is a Member of the British Institute of Cleaning Science. He is also a qualified accountant, practicing member and Fellow of the Institute of Financial Accountants, a Director & Trustee of The Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation Ltd, a Director & Trustee of the Liverpool Central Citizens Advice Bureau Ltd, a Council Member of Liverpool Chamber of Commerce and sits on the Economic Commission Group at North & West Lancashire Chamber of Commerce. He is also a Chartered Manager and a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute and Fellow of the Institute of Hospitality.

In the past Greg has served as chairman and director of Sefton Chamber of Commerce Ltd and director of Sefton Education Business Partnership Ltd.

Ruth has also worked in hotels and held positions in the housekeeping department as Housekeeping manager where she managed a team of staff who assisted her in maintaining the cleanliness of bedrooms and public areas. She is obsessed with cleaning and is often accused of 'cleaning the clean'!

FF Commercial Cleaning offers a broad base of cleaning services to commercial clients. These services include regular, one-off, communal area, end of tenancy, builder and after party cleaning along with a carpet, rug and upholstery service.

We believe price to be one of the competitive advantages as our nearest rivals following a recent study were on average 27% more expensive.

Our main asset is our staff who do a fabulous job each day in helping us look after the few hundred clients that we clean for, whom without, all would not be possible.
